April in the Rockies!
When you hear the word “Spring” do you think of melting snow, chirping birds, and warm weather? Well you’re not alone, but don’t be fooled, Spring in Breckenridge is one of the most notorious times of the season!
Not only do you still get the same epic snow conditions (if not better) but lift lines will begin to dwindle, goggle tans will be at their finest, and it’s just warm enough to start shedding those heavy layers that were protecting you from cold winter wind burns. Every savvy skier knows that the conditions in April hold a little slice of heaven!
With March & April maintaining two of the snowiest months in the high country, combined with warm blue-bird days, you can almost guarantee you’ll be gliding down the mountain with ease. The snow is soft, yet, not quite like May where you’re dodging a mixture of slush and grassy peaks. PLUS, with peak season coming to an end, you’re looking at reduced rates!
