On your next visit to Breckenridge, Colorado you must check out the NEWEST, ONE OF A KIND, addition to our town's array of exciting activities! Breck Scooters is a locally owned, innovative company run by entrepreneurs, Kelsey Muir and Ian Leirfallon. Kelsey and Ian opened their doors in May 2015 renting out hip and trendy, easy to use, 49-cc motorized scooters to anyone 18 and above. All you need is a valid driver’s license, a credit or debit card and the know how to ride a regular bike. It’s that simple! You can rent the scooters by the hour or for a full day. This provides a fun alternative to walking the historical Town of Breckenridge and allows riders to expand their explorations through the stunning scenery of Summit County.

Recently, some colleagues & I from Summit Vacations had the pleasure of test-driving these zippy little vehicles. From my experience, this is the perfect way to spend a summer’s day in the heart of the Rocky Mountains! I was hesitant at first, yet my fears were quickly calmed by Kelsey’s gentle & encouraging guidance. She assured me, “If you can ride a bicycle, you can ride a scooter” – and she was right. After Kelsey & Ian’s informative run-down on the scooters functions, we had a driving lesson in the parking lot, and were let loose to explore the streets, hills & valleys of Breck.
One hour later we returned with smiles on our faces, wind-blown hair & suntans!
Kelsey & Ian streamlined their process to make riding accessible for almost any adult. They provide the scooter, gas, helmet, insurance, and the know-how you need to feel confident zipping through the streets of Breckenridge.
We had a blast, and you will too!
