My family and I had an amazing time at this Breckenridge home. What you see is what you get. There was more than enough room for my group of 8. It was well stocked with everything we needed and had detailed instructions for us to know about the property. That was very helpful! The views were amazing as well!! I would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a relaxing time with family up in the mountains, yet close enough to downtown and surrounding areas for shopping, grocery shopping, gondola rides, and activities down town.

This rental was INCREDIBLE for our stay. It was snowy outside, but nice and cozy inside. The hot tub on the balcony offered wonderful evenings and early mornings with an incredible view. I would recommend this to any of my family or friends! Beautiful location away from the hustle of downtown, but super close to go into town for dinner or shopping! Hoping to stay here again!!

“This place was amazing! Beautiful views to wake up to. The hot tub is an absolute highlight of your day everyday especially after a few spills on the slopes. The entire house has such a homie feel to it. I can’t wait to come back next year!”

Jeff has a managing company that communicates with you - our initial choice was booked and Roman the manager offered another comparable location (another Jeff home) - he was extremely helpful and even provided a great reccomendation for fly fishing - very close to home. Kevin

Great Place for Getaway
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We rented this home for a girls weekend getaway. Plenty of sleeping space and room to visit. The house was clean and the deck had an amazing view, perfect for star gazing in the evenings!. The hot tub was nice and the location was peaceful. The driveway is steep but levels off at the top. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking to get away with a group and have a little quite time away from the busy town atmosphere.

We rented this house for a guys weekend in early March, 2016. We were torn between staying closer to town within walking distance of lifts/bars or this private home. The Summit staff was extremely helpful and gave us the pros/cons of both properties that fit our needs, and we ultimately decided on this property for our trip. It was the right decision!

First, let’s get the only few “cons” out of the way:

1) It’s a drive to town/lift - but it’s only about 7 minutes to get to the main gondola that takes you directly to the base of Peak 7 or 8. This is also great for any “non-skiers” that may be in your group as they can get a sense of the “mountain”, grab a bite to eat, and the gondola ride is free.
2) The driveway is steep and even with the little snow we had at the time of our trip, it was covered. Not a big deal as long as you take the advice of this (and other) reviews and get a 4X4. One person in our group had a sedan and had to park at a turnaround and walk 3 min to the house.

Now on to why this may be one of my favorite stays in Breck to date:

1) The house is awesome! Huge community area with big TV, wood burning stove, amazing views (think I’m in the Rockies views vs. I am looking at my condo complex), and well equipped with everything you could need.
2) Large kitchen with plenty of space to cook breakfast for the 8 of us (we went through 60 eggs in 4 days).
3) Plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms. The great thing is that the downstairs room is separated from he rest enough that people that want to crash can, while those that want to enjoy the night can without any issues. Beds were super comfortable and the couches were great.
4) The hot tub is fantastic with incredible views of the mountain - best place to be after a day on the slopes! It’s a nice hot tub (not one of the cheap ones) and you're not sharing it with strangers.
5) Parking/Garage: I wouldn’t have know how nice this was until we had it. There is a two car garage that makes it super easy to bring in all your gear to get the room in the car, let things thaw out, etc. without needing to carry it through the house and make a mess. Parking is challenge in Breck and since we came from all over the country, having enough space for the three cars would have been a huge problem anywhere else.
6) Having a full-size washer and dryer in-house means you get to pack light, heat the jacket you forgot in the car overnight, etc.
7) It’s on the “Denver” side of Breck so you don’t need to drive through town/traffic on the way in or out.
8) Privacy. This was key. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the town of Breck, the people, shopping, etc. - but being able to unwind, take in the views, and relax wasn’t really appreciated until this stay. I have stayed in condos, ski-in/out, etc - but you never really get the sense you are away from it all. At Peak 7, you are only minutes away from all the action with the option to retreat. Additionally, having a late night won’t bother your neighbors like it would staying in town where houses are connected or inches apart.

If you’re concerned about the trip to/from the mountain because you are here to “ski”, don’t be. The ride is super short (you can even grab coffee/snack on the way) and I skied first lift to last every day I was there. The views, added room, ambiance, wood burning stove, hot tub, and privacy are something I would not trade for being on the slopes 5 minutes sooner.

I can honestly recommend Beautiful Peak 7 Private Home without reservation and will be staying here again! Can’t wait to go back for a couples trip!

PS: This was my 3rd trip to Breck and I’ve booked with Summit Vacations every time. Once again, the staff at Summit Vacations didn’t disappoint! They went out of their way to help plan, prep, recommend, etc. In addition, the info on their website made the sharing info a piece of cake. My loyalty points and Summit Rewards pass also saved us some additional $ during our stay. Def a first class service experience!

“Everything we were looking for!!!”

Left on 01/27/2014 for a stay in January 2014
This property is gorgeous! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

There was 11 of us that stayed the whole weekend and it was very accommodating. The bedrooms were plenty big enough and the beds are very comfortable. The living room area is huge. We took advantage of the stockpile of wood in the garage and built a fire in the living room wood stove everyday. The kitchen had everything we needed, so we never ate out.

The hot tub on the patio was the best!!! Great views everywhere and a massive tub made this the highlight of the house for us!

The owners have done a great job making this house very cozy and relaxing. It was very easy to settle in and feel like this place was truly ours.

The location of the house was convenient. Only a 5-10 minute drive into town. We also found the back road that takes you under the gondola and drops you into town. Cool road! One thing to take note of, the driveway is pretty steep. It takes some effort to drive up this thing when it's icy, even with four-wheel drive.

We rented this property through Summit Vacations. The rental process was simple and painless. They provide all of the info you need prior to your arrival. We didn't have to go anywhere to pick up keys or check out, we just showed up and left like we owned the place. They also didn't bombard my email inbox daily like other rental mgmt companies did, which I appreciate.

Great house, great location, and a great experience! This was the first time I've rented a property like this in Breck and my friends and I have decided that there's no point in looking for a different place for next time. Perfect weekend!

“Fantastic Stay at Breckenridge”

Left on 03/19/2015 for a stay in March 2015
We are a family with 3 adult sons (and their wife and girlfriends) from the Northeast on our first ski trip out west (8 of us in total). We have rented many ski houses over the years and skied all over the northeast. This trip was by far the best we have ever had. The house itself was absolutely perfect; extremely clean, 4 large bedrooms and with adequate (and comfortable) seating for all of us in the kitchen and family rooms. The mountain views from the deck were amazing and the hot tub a welcome addition after a day on the slopes. Although only about 1.5 miles away from both downtown Breck and the slopes, we enjoyed the feeling of being a bit secluded after a busy day. Four wheel drive is recommended and necessary to make it up the mountain and into the driveway but really not an issue at all.

I can't say enough about the beautiful town of Breckenridge and the fantastic skiing we enjoyed. We will definitely be back.

Finally, the property manager, Summit Vacations was very helpful and accommodating in acclimating us first timers to Breck.

I highly recommend Breckenridge in general and this property in particular.

We rented this home for a girls weekend to be spent hiking, paddle boarding, rafting, and overall enjoying the outdoors. We couldn't have asked for a better home to do this. It was very clean and exactly like the pictures, not to mentioned it's located right in the mountains and has an absolutely beautiful view. It was a close drive to all the activities we planned, not to mention downtown Breckenridge for dinner. We also spent a night in and cooked as well. The space was more than comfortable for all ten girls to sit around the table, at the bar, and outside on the deck and enjoy each other's company. I would absolutely recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay again!
